Dave Stenner
Vancouver BC, Canada

Dave managed to coordinate a business trip to Austin, Texas the week prior to the World Meet and will drive (a rental) to my house either Friday night or Saturday morning.  Welcome Dave!

Travel Suggestions
- If you're thinking about driving to my house, may I suggest getting another attendee to tag-team with you to share the driving.  Texas is a long way from everywhere, and coming from LA (for example), the Texas border at El Paso is the half-way point.
- If you're flying into Houston, please send me your flight schedule so that I can post so that other attendees can attempt to coordinate their flights around the flights of other attendees to cut-down on the confusion on picking folks up at the airport.
- You may want to rent a car, and perhaps share the cost of the car rental with another attendee.
- If you arrive in the evening after 6pm, you will likely need to either take a taxi to wherever the group is (i.e.  at dinner or the street races) or rent a car.
- If at all possible, choose a flight that arrives near the same arrival time of other list members to make transportation to my house simpler.  See travel details above.

Lodging Accommodations
- I have but a modest home with a single spare bedroom.  It's available on a first-come, first-served basis.  However, many others have slept (or was that passed-out?) on the floor or couch, so bring a sleeping bag if you're driving.
- Alternatively, here's a list of inexpensive, budget hotels are in the area.  Please feel free to ping others that are coming to find a roomie.
