Chris' '90 Toyota Celica All-Trac Turbo (aka "The Shuttle")
Instrumentation - Warning Lights
Updated: September 25, 2017

Issue: Gauges are nice to have because they provide detailed information about whatever system the gauge is monitoring (i.e. oil pressure, engine temp, etc.) but they do not grab your attention when something goes wrong in the way that typical idiot lights do.

Solution:  I've mounted two Autometer Pro-Comp warning lights on the lower gauge pod on the A-pillar.  These warning lights will illuminate if oil pressure drops below 15 psi or if engine temp exceeds 187F.
